Re: What to buy ? Coupe / Convertible
well looks like I have started a debate and a half... Here is where I am:
I love the concept of a roadster - open sky driving and all, but I know the realities of it... bad weather, hood wear, no boot space - all so that once in a while you can feel cool.
I like to think of the Aston Marton as the quintessential coupe, convertible dilemma, and the fact that James Bond drives a coupe says it all...
As a quick note... my experience of open top driving with women is mixed... mostly they like the idea, but the reality of getting hair blown everywhere, wind burn and sun burn is not their idea of fun.
So if its good enough for Bond, James Bond - it is good enough for me I guess...
Like someone said, I think if I lived in Florida, then the usability of a roadster would be higher, but there is something wrong about putting the hood down in fog with the heater at full belt... the 'cool' left the building a while back in that case.
