Well, I'm looking for a new hobby. Cars are expensive to tinker on, and I'm over rifles and handguns, and the police get upset when I pop off a round in town. lol.
I have a huge back yard here in LA, and since it's so quiet and cheap, I figure this has to be a cool hobby for my friends and I to get into, especially during fire season.

Is there anyone here on the site familiar with the whole sport of Archery? Can someone recommend a good beginners site or forum.? Maybe a recommendation on bow selection would be nice.

I think the last time I even shot a bow was way back in summer camp as a little muncheon...
