Just make sure you read the warranty. We used to sell these through the company I work for (a major insurance company) and the small print is very important. I think buying from a manufacturer is a better idea than some of the stand alone companies but read the entire warranty and understand what you are getting. Some specify they can use used or reconditioned parts, some have deductibles. We had a guy that bought a used Corvette and he bought one of our warranties. It clearly stated in the warranty we can use reconditioned parts (which by the way were covered for the length of the warranty). He never read it. He blew a transmission and expected a new one, we gave him a reconditioned one. That was the last time I sold a warranty. Its not worth $10 bucks to hear people ***** about what they think they should be getting.
Again Read The Warranty and make sure you are clear on what it covers.
