Move to Canada? I lived their for two years and it was the pits. Blue skies and fresh air? - It was either raining or snowing or doing both. Global warming may fix it, but who can wait that long.
Perhaps OZ would be a better move? Weather is nice, plenty of room, and I only pay $700 AUD (probably 250 pounds or so) for insurance. Fuels seems expensive though, $1.20 AUD a litre (40 p?) but compared to you it's not.
