A Backup Camera is not specific to the Roadster, but this application might be. I've never seen the interior of the Coupe.
Yes, visibility is better with the top down. But sitting so low in the car, you still can't see if a small child, cat, dog, have moved behind there, while you were waiting or sitting in the car. If your just getting into the car, its obvious you would check behind or in front, before you move the car.
