If it's the same one I saw...if you read some of the later posts you will see that his problems were cause by a bad temperature sensor. It had nothing to do with the chip.

I have a little over 800 miles since the chipping and I couldn't be happier.

If you want to pay more for the same thing for an added personal comfort factor that's totally your choice. We each have to do what makes us comfortable.
