1. I look at the model year digit, and the model year advertised (if it is for sale), I just keep the last 6 digits of the VIN though. A line in my database would look like this:
VIN = 056182, Model Year = 2005, Color = Black, Model = Roadster (it's in Excel with headers for VIN, etc.)
2. The two 2006 roadsters were listed with the same seller (dealer) on ebay. The seller's name was lexusis300r6 in PA. I believe that each car never made it to auction end, they were pulled off (probably sold locally). Here is one of the roadsters when it was on ebay:

3. The ebay seller with the 2006 roadsters is listed to be in Greensburg, PA. The coupe was in WI (my mistake if I said otherwise EDIT - and I did, sorry).
