Not true...we've been through this once before.
There are no rotational arrows on the sidewalls...only the word 'outside' stamped there. If it's on the outside on the ride side...it will be on the outside when you put in on the left side.
If the side to side rotation gives you an additional 500 - 1,000 miles (or more), then I think it is worth it considering the cost of the tires. Just my .02...
