We could have some really decent electric cars right now, only if our Govmnt. would help subsidize the battery industry in producing better, cheaper and energy dense batteries. But no... everyone in the WH. is a crook and making too much money by keeping all electric cars out of the market place. This is the only reason why Hybrid vehicles exist, its because they still require gasoline and hardly get any improved mileage over non-hybrids cars.
