I found that piece to be offensively biased against an "American" car, despite acknowledging its MB underpinnings. He didn't even give it a chance.
Contrary to the disappointments he outlined, I find the car handles the road like none I've owned before. I can feel the "grab" in every zig-zag I can find my way through. The automatic shifts more than adequately. And I can hear the beautifully throaty exhaust as I gun the throttle. Though the interior is far from regal, I would not call it "cheap" by any means.
I understand the Crossfire's "love it or hate it" type appeal (or lack of), and clearly, this guy just didn't like the car from the get-go. But it irks me that he did not say a single positive word about it. Not one.
His credibilty is zero in my book.
