I have to tell you that I do NOT use my XF as my daily commuter; I drive the Pacifica. It's much more comfortable, has Sirius, is larger (safer) in the DC traffic, etc. My XF is my fun car and I drive it one or two evenings a week and on weekends. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my XF but I would not use it as my commuter car. Although I only drive to work 3-4 days a week (25 miles one way) I do have to go to business meetings, parking garages, metered street parking, etc. and I just don't want to use my XF for that.
