Your battery was most likely neglected for quite a while before you bought your car. It should have lasted at least 4 years with good care. I checked mine last month when I took it out of storage and was happy to see it was in good shape. I still gave it an overnight slow charge before I even tried to start the car. I guess I'm just old fashioned in that way. Comes with age... LOL.

I was surprised when I opened the hood on the Crossfire the first time and saw the battery. It was identical to the one I had in my 99 ML320. Actually pretty much everything except the engine cover was identical... Go figure...
