If I don't hit my muffler on a speed bump now, how would I hit a turbo if it's mounted in the same location? Come on man I thought you would be smarter than that. Who is going to put something that low for it to be hit??? Obviously if you don't have the room it's not a good idea. As for your question about the rain...
