Wink D.I.Y. is fun but the AMG set-up is great

Well if y'all just to have a "hardware store" looking CAI system go for it !

As for me I think the AMG/factory guys already have this thing figured out.

From my previous posts I've posted part numbers. Pictures are in my member's gallery. Plenty of cool air, factory/OEM fit and finish, dealer techs won't freak out when doing routine warranty work, race officials won't bump you up a class for aftermarket mods etc. Seriously, this set-up feeds a 350 horse AMG motor no problems, it's overkill for a N.A. 3.2 motor.

Here are the part numbers for this set-up...

Air intake tubes from radiator area to air boxes, Benz and Chrysler parts numbers as follows...

A 112 094 15 82
05135452AA

and

A 112 094 14 82
05135451AA

The rest are M-B/AMG numbers on the parts...

MAF "Y" pipe...A 112 090 01 29
Rt. Flex Tube...02 6367 A
Lf. Flex Tube...02 6367 B
Rt. Airbox...A 112 090 1001
Lf. Airbox...A 112 090 0901

Cheers,

Slim
