How long was the trip? If the shop did something I would expect the airbag light would have stayed on after you started the car. If you drove it for a while before it came on then the symptom may be coincidental. It might be a good idea to swing by the dealer and read the trouble code out of the car's memory. It will tell you exactly what's wrong.
