Default New owner, New Slide Project.

So what's up fellas, my name's chris. I'm from orlando, and i recently purchased an '06 crossfire brand new, 51 miles, for $20,500 or $26,799 out the door.

Anyways. I just got out of my latest project, a '98 240sx with the works, motor, suspension, the works. It was my drift project for the past two years until sunday april 22nd when it became casualty to a wall at orlando speedworld at a drift event. Counter steer to early too high in the bank = wall clap. So i'm parting the car out, and using what i can.

Now comes my new slide project, the xdriftfire. Haha. Anyways. My plans are as follows.

First, I'm ordering KW Variant 2 Coilovers for some serious slamming purposes, with a call to KW in order to make sure they send me a shorter spring to ensure this car will be kissing the gravel on the roads with full stiffness and speed bump see-saw action all day long.

Then I head to my buddy's shop we call Performance Factory. This is where the single turbo conversion all begins. We're gonna be running a turbonetics hybrid turbo at 8 psi on stock internals with a set of 850cc injectors as well as a walbro fuel pump with a custom sleeve to fit the fire. From there we run a greddy hybrid front mount intercooler of 24x12x3" with custom made intercooler piping wrapping each side of the engine bay in addition to the Tial 38mm waste gate with the proper boost spring to throw you back into the seat where you're supposed to be. I'll be adding a Greddy Type S Blow Off Valve to create some accented whoosh's for your everyday fanboys.

So on and so forth. I'm getting spied on at work, I'll do an update again in a little bit. But anyways, I'm chris.

Here's my last project, casualty project.
