You may want to look up various threads on this forum from HDDP and Woody regarding the traction control/ESP systems.

Turning off the traction control at the switch reduces the interference by 80%, but will still cut power in a full on drift maneuver.

Easiest way around the ESP system is to have a MB tuner technician turn it off in the ECU... PERMANENTLY like HDDP did for his fully race prepped '04 Crossfire.

I'd get a hold of him for some of those details if I were you.
