I think that what you're describing is the same thing that happened to my '04 coupe. I showed it to the dealer, and they agreed to fix it under warranty. They subcontracted the work out to a car interior shop that came to the dealer and made it look like new. I saw their bill to the dealer and I think they charged them about $85 to fix it.
