Can anyone share their experiences using this product?

I am considering buying one to do my own oil changes. I have read a few negative comments about the performance of this product. The comments mostly said that once you get the oil up to temp the plastic hose gets too warm and hinders the extraction of the oil. I would appreciate any feedback on the Topsider oil changer.
