I stay away from Jiffy Lube. I have many reasons, but here is the major one (and it's 100% True):
My old boss' wife took her Ford Windstar to a Jiffy Lube in WV. She paid for a fuel filter change, oil/filter change, etc.
She picked up the van later in the day and drove it home (probably 4-5 miles away), parked it in the attached garage (mid-entry style house where garage is under a bedroom or two).
A little while later - the van exploded. Blew the garage door off, blew boxes across the street, caught the house on fire, etc. Jiffy Lube forgot to fully connect the fuel lines. The gas hot water heater in the garage meeting the gas fumes and puddle caused an explosion (per the Fire Marshall). Luckily his wife and mother were on the opposite end of the house at the time.
Yikes, huh?
