However, should you always throw the peddle to the metal, you would end up with a different driving characteristic and therefore a different throttle response.

But they are NOT my habits!

By law - sometimes I must obey the posted speed limits and - or let the school children walk to school or cross the street in safety. I am an American - I have no problem with this at all - no mater what I drive, my Pickup , my motorcycles or my Crossfire, but once I reach city limits and I have a nice twisty road ahead, WHY DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A $250 DEVICE TO OVERRIDE MY NEW $25K DOLLAR SPORTS CAR?? (Perhaps you paid $40K for your Crossfire, but that makes it even worse - in my opinion)

I AM NOT GRANNY - OR SOME PRE-PROGRAMMED MODERATE DRIVER. I DID NOT PURCHASE A SEDAN TO BRING THE GROCERIES HOME OR GO TO CHURCH. Nor am I a 25 year old hormone induced fighter pilot in a $50 million dollar fighter jet asking my bird to break the rules of aerodynamics.

I am a consumer, who only asks that my automobile respond to my foot, not some German engineer's pre-programmed C++ code.

There - I got it off my chest.

I love this car - I really do, and so far I have found only ONE FLAW! And I hope I can turn the damn FLAW off.
