Default Re: New owner, New Slide Project.

Alright, long time no update?

So, put some more thoughts into the project, but first ordered some stuffsss.

1. KW Variant 2 Coilovers
2. MRR HR2 20x9.5" 20x8.5" Wheels

I got the wheels for $900 so I took the deal for now, if they don't fit right I will surely sell them in a minute. And as for the coilovers, I get those next week sometime, I just have to check fitment on them after I install and see how low we're talking here. If it's not low enough I'm going to talk to my rep at KW and have them send me some shorter springs to get it a bit lower.

On to the motor.

Took a bunch of components off the motor the other day at the shop to see what we were going to be dealing with a little bit better. We had two ideas and narrowed it down to this.

Single GT35R Turbo - Rear Mounted On Custom fabricated megan racing test pipe.
Custom fabbed downpipe to test pipe, no cats.
From the turbo will be about 3" of 3" diameter pipe to the new Y-Pipe we fabricate up running dual out the rear. Dual 3" tips on each side of the car (M3 Style). Then, 650cc fuel injectors (deutshcworks) will hopefully work, a Greddy E-Manage In Dash, And a direct piggyback into a Dell Inspiron Laptop for direct tuning of all aspects.

Sounds confusing, but hardest part of the setup is just going to be tuning. The build of the turbo setup will be pure and clean as hell. 8 psi stock internals aside from injectors, fuel pump, etc. Front mount greddy hybrid intercooler custom yashio factory pink anodized piping Dual SPAL 10" Fans mounted on a custom bracketed Koyo Aluminum Radiator.

Blue Prints are getting there!! So close to starting the build and I can not wait!

Project X is going to be project baller.
