chrome exhaust tips discolored
Recently purchased a pre-own srt vert from out of state dealer (would not do that again)...anyway we've fixed the IC water cooler problem and now it's on to cosmetic stuff...the chrome exhaust is discolored/pitted...the finish of the chrome is messed up and nothing seems to take it off...don't know what previous owner did to it? Maybe scrubbed it with a Brillo pad or some strong chemical/road salt?
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions? Could I try to get it replaced under factory warranty for discoloration of the chrome? Or just put polish on it and live with the dull/pitted surface?
