My '04 has 33k miles on it and when I push the button by the speedo it shows a single wrench and 900 by it. Is that an indication that the A check was performed at 30k and never reset or what. There are many, many Crossfire experts on this forum as I can tell by the intelligent posts I've read. Would one of you please post a clear, concise synopsis of how the FSS system is supposed to work? I did download the service manual (80 Mb, 3,307 pages, WOW!!) and I'm quite handy around an engine or any mechanical contraption but I can't figure out this maintenance schedule. I'm sure there are others that would appreciate the advice of a Crossfire expert.
First, welcome to the forum! There's a lot of great info here. To answer your FSS question, it means you have about 900 miles left before a service "A" is due. It will count down faster or slower depending on your driving style.

Open up your copy of the service manual and start reading from page 0-11 (page 22 of the .pdf). You will find it enlightening...
