Therefore, thay would be sucked up the tube (in my opinion).
If the metallic particles are so heavy that they are not suspended in the oil, an oil change is the least of your worries.
I'm not tring to be a smart a$$, but I didn't relize that while oil was just sitting in a pan that metal particales would just be floating around. I guess I'm just old fashion and like to do things the old fashion way, but if you done a little experiment by putting some oil in a flat pan, sprinkle some small metal particals in it, then suck the oil out of the pan with a hose you are going to have oil and small metal particals left in the bottom of the pan. Then do the same thing except poke a hole in the bottom of the pan and I think you'll find that pretty well all of the oil will drain out and there will be a lot less of the metal particals left. There is no way you are going to get all of the oil out of your oil pan by sticking a hose down the dipstick tube and sucking it out. I'm not trying to start an fourm fight, but it just seems like common sence to me.
