I think the problem is the Crossfire isn't sporty enough to attract the sports car crowd and not luxurious enough(or have the snob appeal) to attract the luxury car crowd.
The SRT-6 has the power but the lack of manual is going to keep away "drivers" who just don't want auto-trans.
For me it was the perfect choice since I wanted a nimble 2 seater that was a little more livable day to day then an s2000.
It handles well and aside from a little wind noise I can drive 100 miles in perfect comfort.
I think it may be the best value in the automotive world.
I paid a little over 24K for a new 2005 limited in 06' it's not perfect but for 24k, its has a v6, heated seats navigation 18/19 inch wheels, traction esp and so on.
