goo gone will not budge it... if it is painted on... finger nail polish remover will do the trick (just be sure not to get it on any exterior plastic areas). but some elbow grease will be required.

if its a pinstripe in tape forum... yep... a heat gun or blow dryer will loosen the adhesive and allow you to remove it with your finger nail.
