Yes, but at least some Jaguars were built with Ford engines.
Personally I think this "Crossfire really a Mopar?" question, is purely academic.
The way I see it, they let us into the Mopar Nationals, so I guess that means that somebody, somewhere, or the "powers that be" must consider it a Mopar. So I'm not going to argue with them.
Mopar (like FoMoCo for Ford, or GM for General Motors) is just the name that appears on a box, when ever you order a part from your dealers parts dept. Just to show it's a genuine "factory built part". Somewhere down the line it became synonymous with all that is Chrysler. Whether you're talkin Plymouth, Dodge, Desoto, Chrysler, or even Chrysler Marine.
Now I think the question that would be more apropos, is whether or not any actual "replacement" parts that you may order for your Crossfire ever come in a "Genuine Mopar" box.
