Default Re: Crossfireless

doesn't matter how you drive as long as you don't pop the clutch or ride it. you must have not read my previous thread. i pulled onto a street and the car doesn't go anywhere. shifting at 3,000 rpms isn't what i'd call being a speed demon, personally. i don't take off quick. the only speed i hit is on the interstate and that has nothing to do with the clutch. if the stock clutch can't take it, i'll wait till the warranty expires (otherwise, chrysler will blame whatever else goes wrong on that) and get an aftermarket clutch / flywheel assembly.

sorry to seem frustrated, but the chrysler service here is horrible. they have one guy that can do anything to the car and they charge like crazy for the smallest crap and every time they give you that whole "that's what you get for having a high performance car" crap and it comes from a guy who couldn't tell you where the car was made. this is why the crossfire never "made" it - the company that provides it doesn't know anything about it - why i'm glad andrew made the crossfire emblems to cover the ugly gold ones up.
