My daughter bought a Hyundai Sonata V-6 with 11,000 miles on it and we also noticed a knocking noise when she first started it. Her problem turned out to be the timing belt tensioner that they replaced under warranty. I'm not sure what we have in our Crossfires, does anyone know if we have a timing belt or chain?
