"Yeah it's normal, but it might get louder at different temperatures, any change in cold weather to hot weather?"


I just don't see how this loud of knock can be normal. In all the cars in all my life I've never heard an engine knock like this unless it's got 150,000 miles on it or a collapsed lifter or something. It is much worse on hot weather, specifically 70 degrees and hotter. I've have even been told that there is a small puff of smoke out of the exhaust right when she fires up.
