Yes. If the owner's manual calls for Premium - my advice - put only Premium in it.
My father-in-law is notorious for not running premium in his cars (Buick Park Avenue Ultra (Supercharged) for instance). Constantly had hesitation and ended up with some major engine problems.
My '97 Prelude called for Premium and that's all i ever put in it. 130,000 trouble free miles and then we out grew it.
