Steve, did you double-triple check to make sure that the bottom end piece of the Eibach spring fit perfectly into the car's bottom spring mount groove slot?

I did not remove the rear shock so maybe the bump stop is at the top of the shock mount location inside the trunk.

I noticed that my rear top spring pad was #3. But my rear drop was nearly equal to the front because I have about 60 pounds of stereo equipment in the trunk and the max drop happened right away.
