Hey Guys,

I have the Avic N-1 Navi unit. I also bought the Harness as well from Crutchfield. I need help with a few things. I did a search and could not find to many threads that answered these questions...

1)Do we need a different Antenna for the radio when installing aftermarket?
2)Someone said there was one wire you had to switch when doing the install for constant power...can someone describe that?
3)Can someone explain why or how we splice into the amplifier for the stock radio and where it is and how to get to it?

I feel like if we can have one thread that can explain from start to the end of how to do an install of the navi unit or even a regular radio that would be great. As for connecting the rest of the wires I can do that much.
