RPM, I have an idea about finding meeting places for the WDC. If you are available sometime in July, we can take a scenic (rural) drive down Dixie Highway to Waterford, pick-up CabinIsle1, then do a pre-cruise of Woodward scoping out meeting places.?. Locals can join us too - as they may know some prime spots.?. Just let me know what day works best for you guys.

For the actual cruise, my thoughts are that we go somewhere in Bloomington Hills/Birmingham for Friday night, as it looks to be an easy drive for non-locals, from the hotel, to go just South on Opdyke Road to the Woodward intersection. Then South on Woodward to a restaurant (with a large parking area). It would also give folks an opportunity to do a pre-run to Woodward on Friday.

Then Saturday will be a lot more complicated, I think we can find an off-route meeting spot for the morning (maybe on the North-end of the general Woodward area), but during the day, I don't think we'll find parking for this size group anywhere near Woodward.
From the Northern-off-route spot, we might want to do an up & down cruise that morning, then re-group somewhere off-route (maybe Royal Oak, for lunch??), then try another cruise in the afternoon?? People will get separated that day - so we'll need to share some cell-phone numbers to stay in touch. We tried the hand-held walkie-talkies one year, but ran into a lot of interference - so cell's might work better??
