The range is great. I typically pick up Ka at least a mile ahead. Signal gets stronger as you come up to it.

The arrows seem like nothing at first. Until you use a regular radar detector after using the v1. I like knowing that the cop I just passed was the one radaring.

The bogey counter is great. Sometimes the cops hide under the standard x band spots. Xband coming from traffic flow monitoring systems here in Dallas. Most radar detectors will only alert you with the strongest signal. Since there are 2 X bands and 1ka band (being the cop), you will not even know he clocked you =/

I've even caught laser scatter off of other cars with enough time to slow down to not even get pulled over.

I could go on all day. The price is hard to consider at first, but after driving for a month, it will pay itself off. I've only had mine for a few months and I am sure I paid it many times over.
