Here's my first basic data log using wOBD v.151 Beta found here... http://www.obd2crazy.com/. It's not being developed anymore that I can find, but it works pretty well and you can even define your own PIDs.

Just a simple capture during a drive back from my wife's family after a nice Sunday dinner.

I took quite a few measurements so my quickest polling time was 4 seconds. If you drop to maybe 4 or so it could come down to 2 seconds. Maybe faster if I can get better control of the baud rate through the ELM tool.
