That engine was used in a lot more Olds F-85's than it was in the Buick specials. The Olds had better heads but they all suffered from the heat issue. The CR was pretty high IIRC and the head gaskets weren't up to the task in that era. I still have one of the Jetfire's that I meant to restore.
It was the same F-85 but with Factory Turbocharger, and Alcohol and water injection under boost. Little tank on the inner fender with a sticker that said rocket fuel. There is an injector sleeve between the sidedraft carb and the intake turbine. The intake turbo is necked right into the intake manifold for a very low profile set-up. It was kinda the GN's daddy.
