Crossfires of Brazil
Actually, the sad answer is none. Been down in Campinas (about 120 clicks northwest of Sao Paulo) for over a week and very few good cars. Coupla A4s and one very old A6. Mostly Polos and Celtas and other little 1.0-2.0 liter shoeboxes. And gas is only ~ US $1.10.
When my colleagues and I talk cars, no one knows what a Crossfire is. So I send them a picture and the universal response is "beautiful". Actually - "fantastico". My Crossfire here would be the best chick-magnet in the hemisphere, but driving it would be like driving in NYC at night with a fleet of drunken taxi drivers. And I could not wander more than 10' for fear it would be stolen.
In the spirit of political incorrectness, the women here are gorgeous and the beer is cheap, cold, and delicious.
If there is a member out there who has seen a Crossfire down here - maybe in a bigger town like Rio - please correct me. PS - I plan to check out Rio on my next trip the end of August. Work is hell.
