Interior lights go off in 5 mins, with door open, trunk light stayed on for half an hour, would have been longer so I guess that could be a problem! I disconnected the light assembly. The electrical interlock with the top sounds logical, my spoiler deployed when the battery was recharged! With the light disconnected I will leave the trunk open and see if I end up with a drained battery again!! How ever the lesson learned is "close the trunk!"
