The Continental all-season tires were a $195 option available to all. Strange that you would have to pay extra for all-season versus the Michelin performance tires, but I bought mine in Florida and it came with the Continentals already on it. I did not bother to switch and have been happy with their performance. Not sure how they would perform in Chicago snow. What part of the city are you from? I am originally from Oak Lawn, but now live in San Antonio.
