Thanks.
I just recently, after going through two sets of the Conti ASPs, put on a
set of summer performance tires. I selected the Goodyear F1s as the
replacement. After about 5,000 miles, I'm about ready to switch back to
the Continentals. From my experience, I believe that the ASP Conti's hold
a line better than the F1s on dry pavement. I think it is about dead even
on wet roads. I wonder if the Conti Contact 3 performance tires would
have been a better choice.
Talk about sticky, the Conti ASP tires could be heard each morning as
they came un-glued from the garage floor. The F1s appear to break
traction going around corners that I never heard a peep out of the Contis
from.
