Great timing, thanks very much. I just heard from the dealer that they all came to him with the Contis, and I was feeling sorry for myself until I read your post. They sound like a much better compromise for everyday use, and it sounds like if I don't like them I can sand them off pretty quickly with an itchy right foot. I am still humbled by the numbers this thing pulls, almost 1 G lateral, and 0-100 in under 13 sec. What a sweetie!
