A very nice Jeep! I have a '91... 4 banger/5 speed with 31's. You could use some deeper gears first. The 4.10's don't get it with the 31's. 4.56 or so will do it. RPM's are the secret of 4 bangers. 2,500 and up is where the power is. Get yourself some deep gears and a locker in the rear if you have $. Do not put a locker in the front. You'll be sliding all over the place in the snow. A Auburn unit will work great. (More $$) Out here in the Pacific Northwest soft tops don't cut it. They always leak and only last a couple of years, so most Jeeps have H/T's. I think YJ stands for Yuppie Jeep, or so the joke goes.
