DupliColor makes paint specifically for vinyl so you could take everything apart and paint it any color you like. I did this with the door panels on my Miata because I didn't like how Mazda set up the black & tan two tone, so I shot additional parts in black and got what I wanted. You do have to make sure that the surface is fully prepped before even priming it, but it will work. I would not recommend this for the steering wheel rim though. Get yourself a nice leather Wheelskins cover for that.
