that booklet is probably a paid ad from D/C. is there any tiny little fine print? I've started noticing this sort of thing in several mags I sub to... "articles" that look exactly like the rest of the mag, but if you look close you see the page #'s don't line up and there's fine print disclaiming them as "paid advertising".
