This is why I purchased a new SRT-6 (did not want to buy a race basket) but I am also curious if an insurance agent could find out. My agent tried to dig up **** for information when I went to insure my SRT.
Ahhh NO!

Race track operators have better things to do that try to void everyone's warranty, and keeping records on the cars that show up. There is no section on carfax that has anything to do with competition either. As far as your insurance agent is concerned, shouldn't he be working FOR you and not against you? If he's actually trying to dig up dirt on you or the car so he has an excuse to charge you more, then you need to RUN AWAY QUICKLY!!! I have heard of people running into trouble after being videotaped, so I just remove my plates before I run. That way that can't prove it's me or my car, cause I've got a helmet on most of the time.

Besides, what is flooring the gas for 13 seconds then hitting the brakes going to do??? If the car can't take that repeatedly, then I don't know what to say. These cars(SRT-6 especially) are designed to RUN. They are autobahn and Nurbenburing tested. They will cruise at 150 All day everyday. About the worst thing you can do at a drag strip is waste your tires(SRT-6s do nasty bada** Instant burnout by the way)and brakes. Of course if the car is TOO much for you and deside to turn off the ESP, then I'm sure it's possible to eat the wall...

I drove these at the Track Experience, and the instructors literally said "if you don't break it, then aren't driving hard enough..." I'm sure those cars take more abuse in a day, than my car will take in a lifetime. They seemed to be holding up just fine...
