I would fully expect that the drivetrain of the SRT-6 will be VERY reliable as a whole. Mercedes Benz makes some of the most durable engines and transmissions out there. The transmission is actually the one that the Mclaren SLR uses (with a few tweaks), so that should be fine. I would expect that if any major part in the drivetrain where a weak link, it would be the rear diff. Now as far as the rest of the car is concerned, the electrical system and accessories are what will most likely prove to be problematic. I wouldn't be surprised to see these things start falling apart around the engine in about 10 years. The AC, Windows, air powered central locking etc. are what I predict will nickel and dime us to death in the future.
