Yeah, I'm constantly amazing people with my useless knowledge of everything car. I wish there was Jeopardy style show on Speed or something that focused on car trivia. I'D BE RICH!!! Actually, I think the HIDs were initially released only as an option starting on the 1995 or 1996 Mark VIII LSC. The standard car didn't offer them, and MOST LSCs didn't have them either. starting in 1997 they became standard on all Mark VII with the addition of the new front styling. Also at that time they introduced the Standard Neon full length Tail Light. I always thought that was cool. I forget what the cost of the option was, but I'm sure it was expensive...
