Re: to be honest
My .02:
This is the nicest car I've had yet to date. I haven't been able to afford other sports cars before now, and I love the XF (bang for the buck is very good). I can't wait till next week when I take it on a road trip for work. So far the farthest I've driven at any one time is 35 miles. Next Monday, 200.
Ok, so I don't have the experience some of you have with Vettes, Porches, etc. etc.
But you know what? Every car/truck I did have, I wished there was something about it that it had (i.e. a sunroof, better controls, etc). But I didn't get the vehicle because of all of the amenities, I got the car/truck because it had essentially all I needed.
My thought is if it didn't have it: add it or get something else. But then you run the risk that it has that other widget but doesn't have something else.
No one car will have EVERYTHING you could ever want or be able to take on all comers for speed. Will some vehicles be disappointments? Yes. Overall are you happy with your investment? You should be. I know I am.
And all of the people that have seen my car since I bought it less than 2 weeks ago have raved about it. We're talking over 30 people now. And not ONE made any comment about the "cheapness of the interior" or the cup holder, or this or that. They've all said pretty much the same thing. VERY NICE!
I had a guy stop me yesterday as I was getting out of it so he could ask questions because he was drooling over getting one himself and actually wanted to talk to someone that had one (another one sold..DC where's my commission check?). My customer that I was visiting called me an "S.O.B." because I had it. He was jealous green all over.
So is it perfect? No. Is it perfect for me? YES!!!
